Brands: pages, logos and shop-by-brand

Shoppers love to shop by the names they trust. Shopkit gives every brand you stock its own storefront page — and you control the name, story and logo from one place.

Where brands come from

A product's Brand field is what puts it under a brand. Set it on the product page (registered brands are suggested as you type), map a Brand column when importing, or pick a brand at import time when your supplier has its brand list filled in. You can also set it across many products at once with Edit products on the Products list.

The Brands page

Go to Brands in the admin menu. You'll see every brand on your products — registered ones with their logo and product counts, plus any brand values found on products but not yet registered (hit Register to claim one).

For each registered brand you can set:

  • Tagline and description — shown on the brand's storefront page above its products.
  • Logo — PNG, JPEG, SVG or WebP up to 2 MB (transparent PNG or SVG looks best). It appears on the storefront brand cards, the Brands index and the brand's landing header. Shopkit optimises uploads automatically.
  • Slug — the brand page's address: /brands/your-brand.

Good to know

  • Renaming a brand updates every product carrying it — a brand can never split into two spellings.
  • A brand's storefront page and tile only appear while it has at least one live product — an empty brand never shows to shoppers.
  • Deleting a brand is blocked while products still carry it — reassign them first (Edit products makes that quick).
  • Want a Shop by brand section on your homepage? Turn it on under Settings → Branding → Homepage sections.
