Great photos sell products. Here's how images work in Shopkit.
Add images to a product
Open a product and go to the Media tab:
- + Upload images — pick or drag in PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF or AVIF files (up to 8 MB each).
- Choose from library — reuse an image you've already uploaded from your central media library.
- Or let AI enrichment find images for you from a supplier's page.
Shopkit optimises every image automatically as you upload it — oversized photos are scaled down and re-saved as fast-loading WebP — so your storefront stays quick without any effort from you. (If a file can't be converted, your original is kept as-is.)
Reorder and remove
Each image has controls in its corner:
- ↑ / ↓ — reorder. The first image is your product's main photo, used on the storefront and in listings.
- Remove — delete an image from the product.
The media library
Everything you upload is kept in Media, so you can reuse a photo across products and manage all your images in one place.
Tip: after enrichment finds images, review them under Products → Enrich and accept only the ones you want — you can untick duplicates before applying.
